As a children's home, Lar Efrata cares for 18 orphaned or abandoned
children. It was founded by Baptist missionary, Richard Stimson, in 1990. Lar
Efrata is located in Embu Guacu, a small town about one hour's drive southwest of Sao
Paulo, in southern Brazil. Homeless Children International began a partnership with
Lar Efrata in 1993.

Casa da
Crianca Peniel
A Future HCI Supported
Ministry
Homeless Children International approved a partnership with Casa da
Crianca Peniel in 1997 and is currently awaiting funding to begin support of this
work. This children's home cares for 10 abandoned kids. Casa da Crianca Peniel is
seeking adoptive parents for all of the children in their care. The home is located
in Campo Grande, in the southwest of Brazil.
